The First Post

I wish I could write a clever funny column like my friend Michael Davis!
I don't write like that
as a matter of fact I've never had a blog before
but you gotta start somewhere

as soon as I can get to a computer and not an iPad(which I'm on now)
I'll upload some art from the files...

I've been picture making in one form or the other for 30+ years
so there will be some old pieces. some of them should never see the light of day!
but I have to put up something..

Compass
I think this just came out
lidell is one of my current faves and this latest album
is diverse,eclectic and full of surprises always with an underpinning of soul on every track
I'm just really getting into this cd and it reveals new depths with every listen
highly recommended.

I'm looking at
The Winter Men
Brett Lewis John Paul Leon
a terrific read with killer art by one of the best there is right now
John Paul Leon always tells the truth with his art..
I'm a big fan..
when Michael Davis walked JPL into the milestone offices with his samples
I was highly impressed then with his obvious yet still unrefined talent..
he's become a great comic book artist and will be ranked with the best...
